Hi! Today i'm going to show you some apps in which students can work some aspects about the learning of measure in a different way, learning by gaming. This methodology is known as gamification.

1- Geoboard:

A very curious and well developed app to learn geometry from the perspective of Primary and Secondary education. Geoboard provides us with a work table in which, with a series of ropes, we will have to draw certain polygons. This process will help us to calculate areas and lengths, which in turn will help reinforce different concepts of geometry and Mathematics in the school setting. If you want to test it thoroughly you can access the web version and discover its possibilities.

2- Dragón Box Elements :

This APP is from 6 to 9 years old children because it has different levels. This is a strategy video game in which children develop the geometric logic. They create geometric shapes.
The main objective is to learn the foundations of geometry building an army to defeat with different geometric shapes.

3- Creador de gráficos:

With this app you can create some different types of graphics. It helps you create, design and share your own graphics in a matter of minutes.
This app is very useful for children to avoid doing every graphics by hand as always has been done. For this reason, we could support children with tablets to do it faster and with the possibility to share it with their partner in a simple way.

4- Easy measure:

This app is a simple way to measure distances, you only need to focus the camera to the object that you need to measure. It also has zoom and angles.

You can measure the length of a building, EasyMeasure uses the height of your camera's lens and the angle of inclination to calculate the distance to the object.
This app is perfect to work with all types of children, because it is simple and can be used in some different ways, adapting it to all type of children.

I hope this APPs will be useful for your measure lessons.
